Montgomery County Kennel Club 2002

Every year, the Bedlington Terrier Club of America, (BTCA) has several specialty shows.  This is where Bedlington breeders go in flocks to show their dogs!  Our largest Specialty Show is held in October, in Montgomery County, PA.   Every year, breeders take their dogs here to compete.

We had a wonderful time this year, showing and just meeting friends that we may not see for another year!  Here is how we did in the ring!

What a wonderful weekend!  Starting with stud dog, Meadowsweet Flashback (Mason) finished in the top 10 dogs in 2001!  He is sired by Sally Schills boy, Chimneyhouse Lord Derby (Derby), and Mason's mother, pictured in Brood bitch is Meadowsweet Summers Hot (Summer)!   Mason is, of course, the father of Millbrook Amazing Grace (Grace) and Millbrook Red White 'n Bluestar (Libbee)!  Grace and Libbee are litter sisters.  Their mother is Bluestar Millbrook Watch Me (Jamie)!  Grace won the 9-12 month Puppy Class and Libbee took second in the same class!  Not bad, for sisters!  With a huge entry of 5 stud dogs and their get, Mason proved himself to be "The Stud" by winning the stud dog class!  Bear in mind that while the other stud dogs had adult get in the ring, Mason won with just his puppies.

Brood bitch is just as exciting!  First, the brood bitch is Meadowsweet Summers Hot!  Boy is she hot!  She is pictured with her boys, Meadowsweet Flashback (Mason) winner of the Stud Dog class and Meadowsweet Winter Blitz (Blitz)!  Blitz's father is our Norwegian import, Borsali'nos Tio (Tio)!  More information about Tio can be found on his page.   Blitz is again pictured as Best of Winners!  What an accomplishment with less then 5 shows under his belt!  Blitz is pictured with Vicky White, who took Blitz back into the breed ring and won Best of Winners!

And let's not forget Forever Autumn (Autumn)!  No cat is safe with her around!  Autumn is shown winning Reserve Winners Bitch! This was her third show!  Earlier this same weekend, she took a 4 point Major by winning Winners Bitch at Hatboro!  That was her First show!  All three shows, she went home having won the Bred By Class!  What an exciting start, for such an exciting little bitch!  Autumn's mother is Meadowsweet My Fair Lady, (Ellee) and her father is our Norwegian, Tio!

We would like to extend our Congratulations to ALL of the winners at Montgomery 2002!
